My philosophy: Cultivating leaders is a lot like growing gardens
At the heart of my coaching philosophy lies a simple truth: nurtured growth blossoms stronger than forced change. As an executive coach, former tech COO, entrepreneur, and organic gardener, I believe leadership is much like cultivating a thriving garden.
I help leaders overcome weaknesses, not by uprooting, but by building fertile ground—mining potential, tending on overlooked edges, and enriching the soil of mindset and habits. Simultaneously, I guide individuals and teams to focus and leverage their strengths, planting seeds in areas where growth is most natural and vibrant.
With over two decades of experience in operational roles—ranging from FreshBooks and Mozilla to McKinsey & Company—I brings real-world business insight to coaching, alongside academic rigor (MBA, CPCC).
My approach roots coaching in cognitive science, practical models, and leadership best practices, blending scholarship with hands-on experience. Meanwhile, as someone who grows organic vegetables—designing gardens for clients’ palates and menus—I embody the idea that leadership flourishes when given care, clarity, and the right environment.
I partner with a diverse spectrum of leaders — from rising stars stepping into leadership, to seasoned executives scaling companies, as well as People Ops professionals who recognize organizational gaps and want to close them.
